Album Cover Project

Edited ISO 3200, 18mm, f/3.5, 1/30 sec For Album Cover Original Song - Alone  By NF https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KB5yDzc5a98 This song is about feeling lost and being alone.  I chose to take a picture of the corner of my room with lights hanging above it. To me a dark room based in the corner is the feeling of being alone and depressed. With the lights hanging closer to the pictures right in the corner, it gives it that sense of where you feel trapped and backed into a corner. When NF says "I'm a little bit numb, little bit frozen, walking amongst you, but nobody knows it, nobody knows me, I'm lost and I'm caught in a cold dream" it feels cold and dark. Like you want to be understood but you can't.

The pictures in this series show a story on a time line that seems to happen very quick. It's about the death of a loved one. The images work together by starting a depressing state that will only get worse. One day was fine and then the next they got bad news from the doctors and they could start to see where that light in there life was about to fade away and get bad. That the coming weeks will be dark and emotional. The wife feels lost and helpless as she watches her husband lay in a hospital bed loose his battle. In the following photo it seems to be showing the wife hugging and crying on her husbands shoulder.
