I felt like every picture was so carefully crafted with detail and love. First off, I love how calmly but fierce the sky is. I feel like what makes this image so successful is the lightning in the background. If a lightning strike did not happen and it was just the cactus with the dark sky in the background it wouldn't be what it is. This photographer used color, lines, shapes and rule of thirds. For the color in this, the photographer had to of been tracking the storm because Arizona doesn't get many storms. But when they do they are some of the best works of art I have ever seen. The shapes in this are made up of how many years of life the caucus has had; meaning their arms. They give it all different types of dimensions whether it being a single arm or multiple arms.
